The Viewtron LPR-AHD5 is a 1080p HD license plate capture camera designed to clearly record license plates from stationary and moving vehicles. It delivers 2MP Full HD video and supports AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI, and analog CVBS video formats, making it suitable for existing coaxial CCTV surveillance systems. The camera features a 5 to 50mm motorized varifocal zoom lens for precise field-of-view adjustment and license plate capture. Built-in infrared illumination enables operation in low-light and zero-light conditions. Its weatherproof housing supports outdoor installation, while the BNC video connection provides compatibility with appropriate CCTV DVRs. The camera can capture plates at distances up to approximately 50 feet under suitable installation conditions. Note that this model provides license plate capture but does not include automatic license plate recognition software.
