UTC Fire & Security M5PBMSP Control Board (b)

The UTC Fire & Security M5PBMSP is a PXNplus CPU control board designed for Facility Commander Wnx and Secure Perfect access control systems. It serves as the processing and communications platform for an M5, M2000, or M3000 access control installation, providing Ethernet and serial communication capabilities between the host software and connected readers, alarm inputs, and outputs. The board supports 10/100 MB Ethernet with TCP/IP, static IP, DHCP and DNS functions, as well as RS-232 and RS-422 serial communications. Its embedded uClinux operating system, Xilinx processor, 32 MB RAM, and 8 MB flash memory provide local processing and non-volatile configuration storage. The PXNplus can continue making access decisions and buffering events during host communication interruptions, then synchronize stored transactions when communication resumes. The M5PBMSP is supplied as the CPU board only and supports compatible M Series enclosures and interface boards.
