The System Sensor ST-10 is a 10-foot metal sampling tube designed for use with duct smoke detectors, such as the System Sensor DH400ACDCIHT. It features a series of air inlet holes positioned to face into the airflow, ensuring accurate smoke detection within HVAC systems. For ducts wider than 18 inches, the ST-10 is recommended to extend at least two-thirds across the duct width for optimal performance. Sampling tubes longer than 3 feet should be supported at the end opposite the detector to maintain stability.
