The System Sensor D2 2-Wire Photoelectric Duct Smoke Detector is a conventional photoelectric smoke detection device designed for installation in HVAC air-handling systems. Its flexible housing supports both square and rectangular mounting configurations and can be installed on round or rectangular ductwork. The detector uses integrated low-flow technology and operates across a wide air velocity range of 100 to 4,000 ft/min. It features a plug-in photoelectric sensor, local magnetic testing, remote testing capability, and a trouble signal if the sensor cover is removed or improperly installed. The D2 operates on 8.5 to 35 VDC and is designed to provide reliable smoke detection while improving false alarm immunity.
