The Symmetry SR-ENC5 is an enclosure with a card cage, backplane, cover with a lock, and pre-wired tamper switch, designed to accommodate Symmetry SR series hardware for access control solutions. This high-density enclosure allows easy installation in unique locations, making it suitable for both new and retrofit applications. Utilizing a pluggable backplane architecture, the SR series provides a compact solution for up to 16 doors, making it ideal for upgrading legacy access control systems to a state-of-the-art Symmetry solution. The SR-DBU intelligent controller at the core of every SR series installation supports up to 16 card readers, and expansion is simple using plug-in door controllers and input/output modules.
