The STI-9601 Steel Web Stopper is a low-profile, flush-mount protective guard designed to help prevent accidental damage, tampering, and vandalism to compatible smoke detectors. It is constructed from durable 9-gauge steel wire formed into a web-like pattern and finished with a corrosion-resistant polyester coating. The flush-mount design provides a clean installation over smoke detectors mounted against a ceiling or flat surface. Mounting clamps and hardware are included for installation. The STI-9601 is UL Listed and MEA Approved for use with listed low-profile smoke detectors. Its rugged construction helps protect critical fire detection equipment while allowing access for servicing and detector maintenance.
