It is intended for installations where the notification appliance requires protection from weather and environmental exposure. The cover features prominent FIRE wording for clear identification of fire alarm notification equipment and is designed for use with compatible weatherproof wall-mount S/V appliances. The cover is an accessory component and is ordered separately from the notification appliance, mounting plate, and surface or weatherproof back box.
