Simplex 4090-9121 Security Monitor

The Simplex 4090-9121 Security Monitor IAM is an addressable security monitoring module designed for use with compatible Simplex fire alarm control panels. It receives both power and communications through a two-wire IDNet circuit and provides location-specific monitoring for up to five initiating devices. The module can supervise normally open or normally closed dry-contact security devices, such as door and window magnetic switches. When armed, abnormal circuit conditions can generate a Priority 2 alarm at the connected fire alarm control panel. When disarmed, conditions are tracked as events. The module reports four monitored states: open, normal, abnormal, and short. It uses screw terminals, a thermoplastic housing, and an LED that indicates valid communication. Compatible panels include Simplex 4010ES, 4100ES, and 4100U.
