Northern Computers N-1000-IV-X Access Control Controller 4 Door W/Enclosure

The Northern Computers N-1000-IV-X is an expanded intelligent access control controller designed to manage up to four card readers and provide centralized control for commercial and institutional security installations. It supports major reader technologies including proximity, smart card, Wiegand, magnetic stripe, keypad, barcode, vehicle identification, and biometric devices. The controller provides eight DPDT relay outputs for door locking and auxiliary control, along with 16 supervised alarm inputs. Its distributed database architecture allows access decisions to be made locally without continuous dependence on a host computer. The expanded model stores up to 25,000 card records and 6,600 transaction events, while supporting RS-485 and legacy 20 mA communications. The unit is housed in a locking metal enclosure with tamper protection and supports integration with Honeywell Northern access control systems and WIN-PAK software.
