Mercury Security MP Series MP1501 - controller

The Mercury Security MP1501 is a compact, PoE+ edge-capable intelligent access control controller designed for secure single-door applications and scalable access control systems. It natively supports up to two readers and one controlled opening, with expansion capability for up to 17 readers and openings through compatible downstream Mercury modules. The controller supports up to 240,000 cardholders and stores up to 500,000 transactions, providing substantial capacity for commercial and enterprise deployments. Connectivity includes 10/100 Ethernet and RS-485 expansion, while power can be supplied through IEEE 802.3af PoE, IEEE 802.3at PoE+, or 12 VDC. Integrated cybersecurity features include secure boot, encryption, and modern TLS support. The MP1501 also provides two programmable inputs and two relay outputs, making it suitable for door position monitoring, request-to-exit devices, locking hardware, and other access control functions. Its compact design simplifies installation in space-constrained applications.
