Honeywell 4208U V-Plex Universal Eight-Zone Expander

The Honeywell 4208U V-Plex Universal Eight-Zone Expander is a remote point module designed to add eight supervised protection zones to compatible ADEMCO and Honeywell control systems that support V-Plex polling loop devices. The module uniquely identifies eight EOLR supervised zones, with 10K end-of-line resistors supplied for zone supervision. DIP switches can be used for zone assignment or serial number programming, providing flexible configuration for compatible control panels. Loops A and B can be programmed for a fast 10 millisecond response, while onboard tamper protection helps monitor unauthorized enclosure access. The module can optionally use external DC power to reduce current drawn from the polling loop. It operates from a 7.3 to 14 VDC polling loop input and has a maximum current draw of 28.6 mA when using external power and the polling loop. The compact module measures approximately 6.44 inches wide, 4.25 inches high, and 1.25 inches deep, making it suitable for professional security and fire system installations.
