GRI 120T-12-W GRI Magnetic Contact - 0.50" Gap

The GRI 120T‑12‑W is a recessed magnetic contact switch set designed for intrusion detection in doors or windows, offering a standard contact gap of 0.50 inches. The set includes a 3/4" diameter switch body and a 3/8" M‑5 magnet, both intended to be installed flush into the frame and door (or sash) spaces. When the magnet is aligned within the 0.50" gap of the switch, the circuit remains closed; when separated beyond that, it opens, triggering alarm systems. This device is intended for use with wood or aluminum framed openings. It comes with 12‑inch wire leads (typically #22 AWG) for connection to alarm panels, and options exist for extended leads or jacketed cable upon request. The contacts are plated to resist sticking or freezing, and the unit is hermetically sealed to guard against environmental factors.
