The GE Security Interlogix VT1910 is a multimode fiber optic video transmitter and data transceiver designed for reliable CCTV signal transmission over two optical fibers. It simultaneously carries FM video, contact closure signals, and bidirectional control data, making it suitable for surveillance systems with PTZ cameras, access control, and remote signalization. The unit supports NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video formats and provides compatibility with RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 data interfaces. It uses 62.5/125 micron multimode fiber at 850 nm and can transmit signals up to approximately 2 miles, depending on fiber and connection losses. The surface-mount module measures 7.0 x 4.9 x 1.0 inches and includes status LEDs for power and carrier detection.
