The Fike 63-1053 is an intelligent photoelectric and heat combination detector designed for addressable fire detection systems. It uses a photoelectric sensing chamber to detect smoke through light scattering, combined with a thermistor-based 135°F fixed-temperature heat detection circuit for additional fire detection capability. The detector can transmit an alarm from the heat element, while the photoelectric element can be configured for alarm or supervisory operation. Tri-color LED indicators provide clear device status information, while onboard intelligence supports communication with compatible Fike CyberCat and Cheetah Xi control panels. The sensing chamber incorporates features that help minimize the effects of settled dust. The 63-1053 is the non-isolator version and requires a compatible mounting base.
