The Edwards SIGA2-PS signature series photoelectric detectors combine advanced sensing technology with practical design, enhancing efficiency, reducing installation time, cutting costs, and extending life safety and property protection capabilities. Featuring self-diagnostics for long-term reliability and innovative field-replaceable smoke chambers for easy maintenance, this intelligent device monitors both smoke and carbon monoxide. The onboard microprocessor analyzes sensor readings, applying digital filters to eliminate non-fire-related signals and prevent false alarms. The SIGA2-PS includes an advanced carbon monoxide sensor with an end-of-life signaling feature after approximately six years. With high-performance forward reflective response technology, it detects even small combustion particles, ensuring a rapid and reliable response to a variety of fire types, excluding those in areas inaccessible to smoke.
