The Edwards Signaling 2507A‑L Magic Contact is a heavy-duty, surface-mount magnetic contact designed for demanding commercial and industrial security applications. Featuring a rugged extruded aluminum housing and fully encapsulated in a polyurethane potting compound, it offers excellent resistance to moisture, dust, and impact. With a wide 3-inch sensing gap, it is ideal for use on overhead doors, gates, fences, or rough commercial doors. The unit includes an SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch rated at 30 VAC/VDC, 0.25 A, and comes prewired with a 3-foot armored cable for added durability. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it is rated for extreme conditions (NEMA 1/2/3/4/4X/5/6/12 and IP67) and operates in temperatures from –40°F to 150°F.
