Edwards FX-PDD Duct Smoke Detector

The Edwards FX-PDD is an intelligent addressable photoelectric duct smoke detector designed to detect smoke within HVAC ductwork and provide early warning while helping prevent smoke circulation through a building. It uses photoelectric light-scattering technology with differential sensing and environmental compensation for reliable detection. The detector supports rotary addressing, self-diagnostics, dirty detector identification, and a magnet-activated test switch. It operates across a wide air velocity range and includes visible status LEDs, a cover monitor switch, and a Form C auxiliary alarm relay for interfacing with HVAC controls or other equipment. The compact housing is less than 2 inches deep, making it suitable for installations where space is limited.
