The DSC 3G4010-UPG is a cellular communicator upgrade kit designed to upgrade existing DSC GS3055 and GS3060 2G alarm communicators to 3G cellular communication. The kit includes a communicator PCB and antenna, allowing installers to reuse the existing enclosure for a simpler and more cost-effective installation. It provides reliable cellular alarm signal transmission to compatible Sur-Gard monitoring receivers and supports control panels using Contact ID or SIA 300 baud formats. The communicator includes four supervised inputs and four open-collector outputs, along with remote status monitoring, SMS command and control, and PTM functionality. It can automatically fall back to 2G EDGE/GPRS when 3G service is unavailable. A SIM card is not included.
