DITEK DK-2MHLP12B Data and Signaling Circuit Surge Protection Module

The DITEK DK-2MHLP12B, also identified as DTK-2MHLP12B, is a 12V modular surge protection unit designed to protect voice, data, signaling, and security alarm circuits from transient surges. The field-replaceable module protects two circuit pairs and uses multi-stage hybrid surge protection technology for rapid response and improved circuit protection. It is suitable for AC and DC applications including 4-20mA current loops, alarm panel NAC, SLC and IDC loops, and burglar alarm circuits. The module installs through an edge-card connection into a compatible DITEK mounting base, allowing convenient replacement and expansion. When used with the appropriate base system, multiple modules can protect up to ten circuit pairs with a common ground. The compact ABS housing measures approximately 1.6 inches high by 2.1 inches wide by 1 inch deep, making it suitable for space-conscious security and electronic installations.
