The Costar Video Systems CDT2312VIRFW is a 2MP outdoor TVI dome security camera designed to deliver 1080p high-definition video over existing coaxial cable. It features a 1/2.8-inch Sony Exmor CMOS progressive scan sensor and a 2.8 to 12mm remote focus and zoom lens for flexible surveillance coverage. For nighttime monitoring, the camera uses 42 infrared LEDs with an 80-foot range and supports true day/night operation with an IR cut filter. Wide Dynamic Range and Back Light Compensation help improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions. The IP67 weatherproof housing makes it suitable for outdoor installations, while Up-the-Coax control enables convenient camera configuration. It operates on either 12VDC or 24VAC. Costar lists this model as discontinued and replaced by the CDT2S12VIFW.
