The Axis Communications 0801-001 Q3708-PVE is a professional 180-degree panoramic network camera designed to provide broad-area surveillance from a single installation point. It combines three 1/1.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensors with fixed 5 mm lenses to deliver a combined 180-degree horizontal field of view. Each sensor supports up to 2560 x 1920 resolution, while the camera can provide three Quad HD streams at up to 25/30 fps or a combined 15 MP view depending on configuration. Axis Forensic Capture and Zipstream technologies help preserve useful image detail while reducing bandwidth and storage requirements. The camera supports H.264 and Motion JPEG, multiple configurable streams, video motion detection, and active tampering alerts. Its rugged outdoor enclosure is IP66 and NEMA 4X rated and IK10 impact resistant. Power is supplied through IEEE 802.3at Type 2 PoE, with typical consumption of 18.3 W and maximum consumption of 25.5 W. The Q3708-PVE is suited for challenging outdoor surveillance environments and panoramic security applications.
