The Axis 0894-001, also known as the AXIS Companion Dome V, is a compact 2 MP indoor network dome camera designed for reliable video surveillance in retail, commercial, and other indoor environments. It delivers HDTV 1080p resolution at up to 30 fps through a 1/3-inch progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor and a fixed 2.8 mm f/2.0 lens with a 106° horizontal field of view. Wide Dynamic Range helps maintain image detail in challenging lighting. The camera supports Power over Ethernet for simplified installation, while Axis Zipstream technology reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. Local recording is supported through a microSD card slot, and HDMI output allows direct connection to a compatible display. Its IP42 and IK08 ratings provide resistance to dust, water, and impact.
